Plain-English summary

The Living Glow five-in-one portable waist fan, model number CP-WFLED01, is being recalled. The model number is on the label on the back of the fan. The fan has five speeds, a three-mode flashlight, can be used as a power bank, has a metal clip for attaching, and was sold in gray, white, aqua, coral, red and sage green.

The lithium-ion batteries can overheat while charging, posing a fire hazard. The firm has received four reports of the fan melting or catching fire. The CPSC notice states that no injuries or property damage have been reported.

About 48,000 units were sold on HSN.com and on the HSN television network from May 2025 through July 2025 for between $20 and $25.

Consumers should immediately stop using the fan and register at https://www.waistfanrecall.info for a full refund. After registering they should disable the fan per the firm's instructions and dispose of it in accordance with local and state regulations, not in household trash.
