Power banks and charging stands recalled after overheating fires reported
About 83,500 Belkin power banks and wireless charging stands are being recalled because the lithium-ion battery can overheat; one US fire and 15 international reports have been received.

Belkin charging stands with model number MMA008 and power banks with model numbers BPB002 and PB0003 are being recalled. The model number is printed on the bottom of the charging stand or the back top of the power bank, and affected charging stands carry 14-digit serial numbers starting with "57X".
The lithium-ion battery in the power banks and charging stands can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards. The firm has received one report of a fire incident in the United States and 15 reports internationally. Two minor burn injuries and property damage totalling $37,765 have been reported outside the United States.
About 83,500 units were sold, with about 2,385 more in Canada, at Best Buy, Target, Walmart and other stores nationwide and online at Belkin.com, Amazon.com and on TikTok from August 2020 through August 2025 for between $29 and $180.
Consumers should immediately stop using the products and contact Belkin for a full refund or store credit, submitting photos of the front and back of the product. The recalled lithium-ion batteries should not go in the trash or general recycling.
