Bobcat and Steiner AirFX Finish Mower Deck Attachments Recalled for Crush Hazard

Doosan Bobcat North America is recalling approximately 552 Bobcat and Steiner AirFX Finish Mower Deck attachments sold nationwide from April 2023 through September 2024. The attachments are all black and labeled 'AirFX' with either '72' or '61' model designations. The affected model numbers are 7526575 (72" AirFX), 7526579 (61" AirFX), 7449223 (61" AirFx Finish Mower), and 7447341 (72" AirFx Finish Mower).

The mower deck locking pins cannot reliably be secured in the upright or tilted position during maintenance or service. This prevents proper securing of the deck and creates a crush hazard to operators. Five incidents have been documented where the locking pins could not be installed.

No injuries have been reported to date. Consumers should immediately inspect whether the locking pins can be inserted while the deck is in the upright or tilted position. Contact Doosan Bobcat North America or a Bobcat dealer for a free repair, which will be available soon. As a temporary measure, consumers should use two 1,500-pound-rated straps wrapped around each front tractor axle and secured to the mower deck during service or maintenance.
