Droyd Fury Youth All-Terrain Vehicles Recalled for Laceration Hazard

Droyd Fury Youth ATVs fail to comply with federal ATV safety regulations. The handlebars pose a laceration hazard if struck at high speed, risking serious injury or death.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: The recalled ATVs pose a direct risk of serious injury or death due to non-compliance with federal safety regulations and a documented laceration hazard. Although no injuries have been reported, the hazard is structural and the risk is significant under the rubric criterion for risk-of-harm products where injury has not yet been reported.

Plain-English summary

Reyhee Group Inc. and Jingling International Inc. are recalling the Droyd Fury Youth All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), model number XW-A01, intended for children 6 years and older. Approximately 156 units were sold.

The recalled ATVs fail to comply with federal mandatory ATV regulations. Specifically, the handlebars pose a laceration hazard if the child rider's body or head impacts them at high speed, creating a risk of serious injury or death.

The vehicles were sold online through Droyd.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Target.com, Purchasingpower.com, Wellbots.com, and Rideextremedirt.com from May 2024 through June 2024 for approximately $600. The vehicles were available in three colors: Speed Red, Power Blue, and Force Green, and bear the model name "FURY" printed on the front and sides.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact Reyhee Group at 800-333-3729 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT, Monday–Friday), via email at [email protected], or online at www.droyd.com/pages/safety-recall to obtain a free repair kit consisting of a replacement handlebar cover and new safety warning labels.
