RH Baby & Child Jeune Cribs Recalled for Choking Hazard

RH Baby & Child is recalling about 480 Jeune French Contemporary Upholstered Panel Cribs because cylindrical metal inserts in the wooden frame can become loose and detach, posing a choking hazard to infants.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: This is a choking hazard involving infants, a high-risk population. Although no injuries have been reported, the hazard is real and documented (two reports of detachment) and poses direct risk of harm to a vulnerable age group, meeting the High threshold under the rubric.
