The tiki torch top can break open and/or fall off while the torch is lit, posing a burn hazard. The torches are five inches or six inches wide and 72 inches high on a wrought iron stake, with copper-plated, nickel-plated, black, or gray torch tops and a fiberglass wick. The company has received nine reports of the torch top breaking open or falling off, resulting in two reports of burn injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tiki torches. BJ's Wholesale Club is offering a full refund. Consumers should destroy and dispose of the tiki torches or return them with an empty fuel reservoir to BJ's Wholesale Club to receive a refund.
