Fisher-Price Little People figures recalled due to detachable head choking hazard

Fisher-Price is recalling Mickey and Friends figures sold since May 2023 because Donald and Daisy Duck heads can detach, posing a choking hazard. Three detachments were reported, including one found in a child's mouth, with no injuries.

Fisher-Price is recalling approximately 204,000 Little People Mickey and Friends figure packs (models HPJ88 and HTW75) distributed in the United States. The plastic Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures within these packs have detachable heads that pose a choking hazard to young children.

The recalled figures were sold nationwide from May 2023 through February 2024 at retailers including Walmart, Kohl's, Meijer, HEB, Kroger, and online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and other e-commerce sites for approximately $20 per pack. An additional 11,000 units were sold in Canada.

Fisher-Price has received three reports of the heads detaching from the figures, including one instance where a detached head was found in a young child's mouth. No injuries have been reported to date.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures and keep them away from children. Fisher-Price is offering a prepaid return label and a $10 refund.
