iFIT NordicTrack 50-Pound Adjustable Dumbbells Recalled for Impact Hazard
iFIT is recalling NordicTrack 50-pound iSelect voice-controlled adjustable dumbbells because weight plates can dislodge during use, posing an impact hazard. Eight injuries including contusions and abrasions have been reported.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: Eight injuries (contusions and abrasions) have been documented from weight-plate dislodgement, demonstrating that harm has already occurred in a risk-of-harm scenario. This meets the High severity criterion for products where injury has been reported, even though injuries are not severe.
Plain-English summary
iFIT Inc. is recalling approximately 15,400 units of the NordicTrack 50 LB iSelect Voice-Controlled Adjustable Dumbbells (model NTSAW23020.0) sold in the United States, plus about 650 units sold in Canada. The dumbbells adjust from 5 to 50 pounds in 5-pound increments using a motorized electronic weight selector controlled by voice commands or a manual rotating knob on the base.

The dumbbells were sold through NordicTrack.com, Amazon.com, and DicksSportingGoods.com between January 2022 and November 2023, priced between $500 and $600.
