iFIT NordicTrack 50-Pound Adjustable Dumbbells Recalled for Impact Hazard

The dumbbells adjust from 5 to 50 pounds in 5-pound increments using a motorized electronic weight selector controlled by voice commands or a manual rotating knob on the base.

The weight plates can dislodge from the handle during normal use, creating an impact hazard. The CPSC reports 40 incidents of weight plates dislodging, with eight resulting in injuries such as contusions and abrasions.

The dumbbells were sold through NordicTrack.com, Amazon.com, and DicksSportingGoods.com between January 2022 and November 2023, priced between $500 and $600.
