This recall involves Arshiner-branded children's long-sleeved nightgowns made of 94% polyester and 6% spandex with lace-trimmed neck collars and hemlines. The nightgowns fail to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear, creating a risk of burn injuries to children. About 5,300 units were sold online at Amazon.com from July 2020 through March 2022 for between $10 and $22, in sizes 4 through 13 years, in 10 different prints including "Cat Meow," "Sleeping Cat in Cup," "Panda Dream Big," "Fairy," and others.

The nightgowns were imported by Shenzhen Rongru E-commerce Co. Ltd. and Shenzhen Yixihai Clothing Co. Ltd., both doing business as Arshiner, of China. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children and stop using them. Arshiner recommends destroying the nightgowns by cutting them both vertically and horizontally, then disposing of them in accordance with local state recycling laws. Consumers should send a photo of the destroyed nightgowns to Arshiner at [email protected] and will receive a full refund upon receipt of the photo. Arshiner and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.
