Plain-English summary
ASHERANGEL, of China, is recalling about 950 children's nightgowns and two-piece pajama sets sold exclusively at Amazon.com from December 2016 through July 2017. The recalled items include 100 percent cotton short-sleeve nightgowns in purple, pink, and blue, as well as long-sleeve two-piece sets in solid pink, black with white polka dots, pink gingham, and blue gingham. The garments were sold in European sizes 110 cm through 150 cm for children aged 4 to 13 years.
The recall was issued because the sleepwear fails to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear, which poses a risk of burn injuries to children. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that no injuries have been reported in connection with these products.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sleepwear and take them away from children. ASHERANGEL is contacting all known purchasers directly to offer a full refund. Consumers can also contact ASHERANGEL by email at [email protected].
