HABA USA (Habermaass Corp. Inc., of Skaneateles, New York) is recalling the Discovery Cubes Animal Hide and Seek activity toy. The toy is shaped like a house made with multicolored fabric and contains animal figures (fox, hedgehog, and mouse) along with various pockets and rings. The model number 306684 appears on the sewn-in label inside the house and on the packaging.

The seam on the activity toy's house can open, allowing a young child to access the toy's filling. If the filling is placed in the mouth, it poses choking and ingestion hazards. One consumer reported noticing an open seam on the toy's house. No injuries have been reported.

About 800 units were sold through specialty toy stores nationwide and online at Habausa.com, Walmart.com, and Amazon.com from August 2022 through October 2022 for about $30.

Consumers should immediately remove the recalled toy from the child, cut the toy in half with scissors, take a photo of it, and discard it in household trash.
