Winter Water Factory Infant Garments Recalled for Snap Detachment Hazard

Winter Water Factory is recalling about 46,500 infant jumpsuits, rompers, snap suits, dresses and bibs because snaps can detach and expose sharp prongs, posing choking and laceration hazards to young children.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: The recall involves risk-of-harm products (choking and laceration hazards) involving young children, and the source explicitly states no injuries have been reported. Per the severity rubric, when no illnesses or injuries are reported and the hazard is theoretical, the score is at most 3.

Plain-English summary
