CFMOTO Recalls 2021 CFORCE 800XC ATVs Due to Crash Hazard

CFMOTO Powersports Inc. is recalling about 2,050 2021 CFORCE 800XC All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) due to a crash hazard. The electronic power steering (EPS) on these vehicles can malfunction, which may cause the rider to lose control of the vehicle.
The recalled ATVs were sold at CFMOTO dealers nationwide from September 2020 through April 2021 for about $8,800. The vehicles feature 800cc 4-cycle engines and were available in orange, blue, silver, and camouflage. The CFMOTO logo is located in the center of the front grille, and the model name is printed on each side of the vehicle chassis. The vehicle identification number (VIN) is stamped on the right frame rail, under the seat, with the letter "M" in the 10th position for model year 2021.
CFMOTO has received three reports of the EPS failing and loss of vehicle control, resulting in two reported injuries. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact a CFMOTO dealer to schedule a free repair. CFMOTO is also contacting all registered owners and dealers directly.
