The recalled motorcycles were sold nationwide by authorized KTM and Husqvarna dealers from June 2020 through September 2020 for between $5,100 and $5,200. The KTM models are orange with white and blue, while the Husqvarna models are white, blue, and yellow. Affected vehicles have the letter M in the 10th position of the vehicle identification number (VIN), located on the right side of the steering head.
Consumers should immediately stop riding the recalled motorcycles and contact an authorized KTM or Husqvarna dealer to schedule a free repair. KTM and Husqvarna are contacting all known purchasers directly.
