KTM and Husqvarna Recall 2016 Motocross Motorcycles Due to Crash Hazard

The connecting rod in the crankshaft assembly can fracture, causing the operator to lose control of the motorcycle and crash. The firm has received five reports of the rod cracking. No injuries have been reported.
The 2016 KTM Motorcycles were sold at KTM authorized dealers nationwide from October 2015 through March 2016 for between $8,400 and $9,100. The 2016 Husqvarna Motorcycles were sold at Husqvarna Motorcycles authorized dealers nationwide from October 2015 through March 2016 for about $8,400. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled motorcycles and contact an authorized KTM or Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer to schedule a free repair.
