Peloton Recalls Tread+ Treadmills After Child Death and Injury Reports

The affected treadmills feature a 67-inch running deck, a 32-inch HD touchscreen, and a slatted belt. They were sold online at onepeloton.com and at Peloton showrooms from September 2018 through April 2021 for about $4,295. The model number TR01 is printed on a black sticker on the end cap in the front of the treadmill deck. This recall is distinct from a separate voluntary recall of the Peloton Tread due to a console detachment issue.

Consumers should stop using the recalled treadmills immediately. Peloton is offering a refund or repair.
