Jimco Lamp & Manufacturing Co. is recalling approximately 99,000 J Hunt Home and J Hunt and Co. accent tables with charging receptacles. The recall involves multiple styles and colors of side accent tables made of MDF, solid wood, and veneers, some featuring mirrored accents or drawers. The units contain convenience receptacles for AC and DC electricity and USB charging pins. The tables were sold at HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and other home furnishings stores, as well as online at Amazon.com and other sites, from May 2019 through December 2020 for between $60 and $130. An additional 11,000 units were sold in Canada.

The recall is due to an electrical issue in the convenience charging receptacles and/or USB ports that can result in reverse polarity, posing a shock hazard to the user. No incidents or injuries have been reported to date. Affected units have a white adhesive label on the underside or back with item numbers and date codes between April 2019 and November 2020. Specific item numbers include FR9020, FR9175, FR9846, and others listed on the company's website.
