The pants were sold online at Amazon.com from October 2018 through September 2019 for about $18. The specific lot numbers affected are printed on an inside side seam label and include 58500-51 through 58500-71, excluding 58500-64 and 58500-68.

The recall is being issued because the lounge pants fail to meet the federal flammability standard for children's sleepwear. This standard requires sleepwear to be either snug-fitting or flame resistant. The failure to meet this standard poses a risk of burn injuries to children. No injuries have been reported in connection with these products.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled lounge pants away from children. K-Apparel is contacting all known purchasers, but consumers can also contact the company for a full refund.
