Plain-English summary
SAMpark LLC is recalling about 185 children's pajama sets due to a violation of the federal flammability standard for children's sleepwear. The standard requires sleepwear to be either snug-fitting or flame resistant. The recalled pajamas are 100 percent cotton knit, two-piece short-sleeve top and pant sets sold in sizes 6 to 12 months through size 10Y. The sets feature prints including Acrofish Neon, Crab, Elephant, Jellyfish, Mooch, Monkey, and Seahorse, and have a sewn-in neck label stating "almirah www.almirah.com."
The pajamas were sold from August 2018 through July 2019 for about $30 at nine children's boutique stores in Massachusetts, Louisiana, Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina, Connecticut, New York, and Virginia. The products were manufactured in India.
No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children and contact SAMpark for a full refund. Contact information is available via collect call at 860-906-6285, email at [email protected], or online at www.samparkusa.com.
