PajamaGram of Shelburne, Vt., is recalling about 12,000 units of children's pajamas. The recalled products are 100 percent polyester fleece pajamas sold in sizes 12 months to 4T and boys and girls sizes 6 through 14. The pajamas are available in two styles: one-piece hood and feet pajamas, and two-piece sets. "PajamaGram" is printed on the neck tag, and specific style/GPU numbers are printed on a second tag sewn into the neck or side of the garments.
The recall was issued because the pajamas fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear. This violation poses a risk of burn injury to children. The company has reported no injuries associated with the recalled products.
The pajamas were sold through the PajamaGram website, telephone, and catalogue from September 2011 through March 2012 for between $26 and $40. Consumers should stop wearing the pajamas immediately and contact PajamaGram for a replacement, exchange, or full refund.
