CB2 is recalling its Colby lacquered wood and glass pendant light fixtures due to fire and shock hazards. The recalled lights are hanging ceiling fixtures that measure 17.5 inches long, featuring a clear glass shade with a 12-inch diameter and a 75-inch hanging cord. The insulation on the electrical wiring can come loose, creating a risk of fire or electric shock.
About 260 units were sold at CB2 stores nationwide and online at CB2.com from November 2017 through August 2018 for approximately $100. The lights were manufactured in India. No injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pendant lights and keep the light switch in the off position. They should contact CB2 to arrange for free removal of the recalled light and free installation of a replacement light.
