Yangtze Store is recalling about 640 units of 100% silk women's scarves. The scarves, which measure approximately 67 inches long by 22 inches wide, were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from January 2017 through April 2018 for between $13 and $15. They were sold under the name "Long Georgette Silk Scarf Butterfly Print" in 11 colors: black, fuchsia, green, light blue, navy, red, taupe, turquoise, pink, purple, and white.
The recall was issued because the scarves fail to meet the federal flammability standard for clothing textiles. This violation poses a risk of burn injuries to consumers. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has not reported any injuries associated with this recall.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled scarves. Yangtze Store is contacting all known purchasers directly to offer a full refund.
