These portable outdoor chairs feature an aluminum frame and mesh seat. The recall involves units with date codes for November 2017, December 2017, March 2018, or May 2018, which can be found on the plastic hub on the inside edge of the leg strut.

The plastic joint supports attached to the legs of the chairs can break, posing a fall hazard. The firm has received 14 reports of the joint supports breaking, but no injuries have been reported. Approximately 15,500 units were previously recalled in February 2018.

The chairs were sold at REI and specialty outdoor stores nationwide and online at Nemoequipment.com and REI.com from November 2017 through May 2018 for between $180 and $220. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs and contact NEMO Equipment for a free inspection and, if necessary, a free replacement chair.
