Belle Investment Corporation is recalling approximately 1,500 Richie House-branded children's robes due to a violation of federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear. The recalled robes are 100% polyester, available in youth sizes 4/5 through 12/14, and feature long sleeves, a belt, and two front pockets. The red robe includes a hood. The products were sold in four color and print combinations: red with a dog print, blue with a butterfly print, pink and white with white polka dots, and solid pink. A label sewn into the neck of the robe reads "Richie House Los Angeles" along with the size.
The robes were manufactured in China and sold exclusively at Amazon.com from December 2015 through March 2017 for between $20 and $22. The failure to meet federal flammability standards poses a risk of burn injuries to children. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
