The buttons on the straps can detach from the garment while in use, creating a choking hazard for young children. The firm has received eight reports of buttons detaching, but no injuries have been reported. The playwear was sold at Layette, Hip Hip Hip Hooray, and Born Children's stores, as well as online at www.lilaandhayes.com, from February 2017 through April 2017 for between $45 and $65.

Consumers should immediately stop using the playwear. They can contact Lila + Hayes at 855-850-1308 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or online at www.lilaandhayes.com, to receive a pre-paid mailer envelope to return the garment for a full refund.
