The recalled units are model number ZB-B1800, code MC 160, with date codes ranging from 11-0102011 through 6-14-2012. These black battery packs measure 6 inches long by 3 inches wide and are used to power the chairs when an electrical outlet is not available.

The battery power packs can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Limoss has received two reports of the battery pack overheating, including one incident that resulted in undetermined fire damage. No injuries were reported.

The recalled battery power packs were sold at Best Home Furnishing, Flexsteel, and Palliser dealers nationwide and online at amazon.com and other websites from November 2011 through August 2012 for about $100. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled battery power packs and contact Limoss for a free replacement.
