Bosch Recalls Radion Wireless Smoke Alarms for Fire Detection Failure

Only alarms with date codes 001 through 458 are included in this recall.
The alarms can fail to alert consumers to a fire, posing a fire hazard. Bosch has received two reports that alarms failed to sound during installation testing. No injuries or deaths have been reported.
The recalled alarms were sold by security system dealers nationwide from November 2013 through October 2014 for about $125. Consumers should immediately contact their dealer or installer for a free replacement alarm. Bosch has contacted dealers and installers directly.
