Gorsuch Ltd. is recalling approximately 300 Ertlrenz Trim Heat and Foam Heat ski boot liners. These handmade, customized black inner heat liners were sold with a charger, remote control, and instruction manual. The product was sold at Gorsuch Ltd. stores in Aspen, Vail, and Beaver Creek from November 2011 through March 2015 for about $690.

The heat liners can overheat when charging, which poses a fire hazard. Gorsuch received three reports of the heat liners smoldering during the charging process. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the heat liners. They should return the product with accessories (charger/remote control) to Gorsuch LTD or a Gorsuch store for repair or replacement.
