Fitness Anywhere LLC is recalling approximately 2,700 TRX Dip and Hammer Bars used with TRX S-Frames and Elevated Frames. The recall was initiated because the welds on the bars can crack or break, which may cause the user to fall and result in injury.
The affected products include the TRX dip bar for S-Frames, the TRX dip bar for Elevated Frames, and the TRX hammer bar. These items were sold by Fitness Anywhere and authorized commercial distributors nationwide from June 2011 to May 2013 for about $500. The company has received 33 reports of welds breaking, including one report of a minor injury.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dip bars and hammer bars. Fitness Anywhere has notified all known purchasers.
