The affected hoses are used with gas station nozzles to dispense or transfer refined fuels, including gasoline, diesel, ethanol blends, and biodiesel blends up to E15.

The recalled hoses are 1 inch in diameter and range in length from 9 inches to 100 feet, including made-to-order lengths. They feature fixed or swivel fittings and are available in black, green, blue, yellow, or red. Affected products have a date code of M1014 through M3014 in WWYY format on the fitting. Model numbers begin with FLHFR3XX XXX or FLXHW3XX XXX. The text "FLEX-ING FLEX-ON" or "FLEXSTEEL FUTURA" is printed on the hoses.

These hoses were sold by distributors, contractors, and gasoline stations nationwide from March 2014 through July 2014 for prices between $20 and $560 depending on length. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hoses and contact Franklin Fueling Systems at (800) 225-9787 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or visit www.franklinfueling.com to receive a full refund or a replacement hose.
