The hinge on the stroller's folding mechanism can partially amputate consumers' fingertips, break their fingers, or cause severe lacerations when the release button is pressed while pulling on the release strap. Britax has received eight incident reports, including one partial fingertip amputation, one broken finger, and severe finger lacerations.

Consumers should stop using the recalled strollers immediately and contact Britax to receive a free repair kit. The model number and manufacture date can be found on a label located on the inside of the stroller's metal frame near the right rear wheel.
