The affected products include 100% Pima cotton two-piece pajama sets (long-sleeve and short-sleeve) and short-sleeved nightgowns in boys and girls sizes 2 through 8. The garments feature various prints, including shark, ballerinas, skeletons, flowers, polka dots, striped monsters, and paisley. All items have a printed neck label reading "KleverKids live {Heart} laugh {Heart} love," and some pajama sets include a sewn-in label stating "flame resistant sleepwear."
The recall was issued because the pajamas fail to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear, which creates a risk of burn injuries to children. The products were manufactured in Peru and sold at children's boutiques and specialty stores nationwide from September 2012 through March 2013 for prices between $32 and $82. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children and stop using them.
