These two-wheeled off-road motorcycles are white, red, and black. The model number is printed on the rear fender on both sides of the motorcycle just below the tail end of the seat, and "Husqvarna" is printed on both sides of the shrouds covering the fuel tank. Consumers can identify the 2013 model year by checking the letter in the 10th position of the vehicle identification number (VIN) on the right side of the steering head; the letter D indicates a 2013 model.

The recall is being issued because the motorcycle's throttle cable can malfunction, causing the rider to lose speed control. This defect poses a crash hazard. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

The affected motorcycles were sold at motorcycle shops nationwide from October 2012 through June 2013 for between $6,300 and $7,100.
