Glideaway Bed Carriage Manufacturing Company is recalling approximately 1,850 pink-colored Sleepharmony metal youth beds. The recall is due to a violation of the lead paint standard, as the surface paint on these beds contains levels of lead that exceed the limits allowed by law.

The affected products are twin-size metal beds with three pink heart-shaped designs on both the footboard and headboard. They include an assortment of stickers for the heart designs. The model number is #MB-YPT-R1, found on the box and instruction sheet. The manufacture date code is on a yellow label inside the metal side rail, appearing as "MFG: 2013/01/25." The recalled beds were manufactured between December 2011 and May 2013. Black and white models, as well as mattresses, are not part of this recall.

The beds were sold at furniture and other retail stores nationwide from February 2012 to June 2013 for between $120 and $170. The beds were manufactured in China. No injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with these beds.
