Far East Brokers and Consultants Inc. is recalling approximately 6,000 units of Leisure Ways® pink butterfly-themed children's camp chairs, moon chairs, and swings. The products feature a metal frame and pink polyester fabric with large red butterfly images and other colorful designs. The recall is due to a violation of the federal lead paint standard, as the screen-printing on the fabric contains excessive levels of lead.
The affected products were manufactured by Zhejiang Haifu Leisure Products Co. Ltd. of China and imported by Far East Brokers and Consultants Inc. of Jacksonville, Florida. They were sold at Weis Markets, wholesale distributors, and grocery and drug stores nationwide from January 2016 through April 2016 for between $10 and $50. A tracking label sewn into the seat of each chair reads "Distributed by: Far East Brokers and Consultants, Inc." and "Tracking # November/2015."
No injuries have been reported in connection with these products. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs and swings and keep them away from children.
