These handlebars are finished in gloss black with white text reading "3T," "AURA-PRO," and "ULTIMATE-PERFORMANCE." The bicycles were sold at Cervélo bicycle retailers nationwide from September 2012 through January 2013 for approximately $3,600 to $6,000.
The recall is due to a risk of injury because the bicycle's handlebar clamps can detach during riding. This failure can cause the rider to lose control of the bicycle. 3T Design has received one report of an incident resulting in minor injuries.
