The serial number is located on a white sticker on the back of the unit.
The recall is being issued because a nut inside the chassis can come loose and fall between the electrical coils, posing an electrical shock hazard to consumers. No injuries have been reported in connection with this defect.
The amplifiers were sold at music and instrument stores nationwide and online from August 2012 through January 2013 for about $450. Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the amplifiers.
