Sportspower BouncePro 14' Trampolines Recalled for Fall Hazard

Sportspower Ltd. is expanding a previous recall of Sportspower BouncePro 14' Trampolines to include units with black tetlon netting. This recall involves approximately 120,000 units, including the 92,000 units recalled in May 2012. The trampolines were sold exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide from February 2009 through March 2011 for about $300. The affected trampolines feature model TR-1686-TPR and UPC codes 687064045552 or 687064042100.
The recall is due to a hazard where the enclosure netting surrounding the trampolines can break, allowing children to fall through the netting and be injured. Since the May 2012 recall, Sportspower has received nine additional reports of the netting breaking. There have been five reports of injuries, including broken bones, back and neck injuries, and contusions.
