The recalled products were sold exclusively at WalMart and online at www.perfectonline.com for approximately $13 to $17. The bands are rubber tubes secured by grommets to cloth sewn into loops.
The recall was initiated because the bands can detach from the mesh cloth loops, posing an injury hazard to the user and those in the vicinity. Twelve incidents were reported, including injuries to the back, hand, and eye. None of the injuries were serious, and one required medical attention.
