Serial numbers for the recalled units begin with 0511, 0811, 0911, 1011, 0112, 0212, 0312, or 0412, and are located on the barrel block on the left side just in front of the rear sight.

The company received one report of an air rifle discharging unexpectedly while a consumer was closing the action during the cocking process. No injuries have been reported. The rifles were sold nationwide at sporting goods stores, gun shops, and online retailers, including Dunham's Sports, Sportsman's Warehouse, Airgun Depot, The Sportsman's Guide, and Pyramyd Air, from November 2011 through July 2012. The price range was between $100 and $130.
