Dream On Me Inc. is recalling approximately 90 Bistro high chairs, model/style number 255, due to a strangulation hazard. The front openings between the tray and seat bottom, as well as side openings between the armrest and seat bottom, can allow a child's body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck if the safety belt is not engaged. Additionally, exposed springs between the seat and armrest on both sides of the high chair can create a pinch hazard.
The recalled high chairs were manufactured in July 2011 in China and sold in blue or pink with a polka-dot seat design. They were sold at Americas Kids, Kid Pro USA, independent juvenile specialty stores, and online at Toysrus.com between November 2011 and September 2012 for about $75. The model number is printed on a tag attached to the back of the seat, and "Dream On Me" is printed on a label attached to the front of the white tray.
No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled high chair and contact Dream On Me Inc. for instructions on receiving a free replacement high chair.
