These snowmobiles were sold at Arctic Cat dealerships nationwide from May 2011 through December 2011 for between $10,500 and $14,500.
The recall is due to a defect where the lower steering tie-rod attachment can loosen. This failure can cause a loss of steering control, posing a crash hazard. Arctic Cat has received four reports of incidents related to this issue, including one instance of complete loss of steering control. No injuries have been reported.
