The chairs were sold for between $350 and $700 from March 2011 through June 2011 at authorized Steelcase dealers, retail outlets including Healthy Back Store, CSN, Home Office Solutions, Office & Company, and Sam Flax stores, as well as online at www.store.steelcase.com.

No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall. The model number and manufacture date are printed on a label located on the underside of the chair seat. The seats are available in various colored fabric options as well as leather.

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected chairs and contact Steelcase to receive adhesive covers to apply over the pivot pins. These covers can be applied without tools in less than five minutes. Steelcase is contacting all known purchasers.
