They were sold in five adult sizes ranging from extra small to extra large.
The dresses fail to meet the federal flammability standard, which poses a fire hazard to consumers. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has not reported any injuries or illnesses associated with the recalled product.
The dresses were sold in the Impulse Department of Macy's stores nationwide and on macys.com from March 2011 through May 2011 for about $60. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dresses and return them to any Macy's for a full refund.
