These wall-mounted sensors were sold for commercial use between November 2000 and March 2005 for between $150 and $200. The sensors are being recalled because a cracked capacitor can cause the product to overheat and smoke, posing a fire hazard. GE has received three reports of this overheating and smoking issue, but no injuries have been reported.
