The recall is due to a tip-over hazard. The warning labels included with the stands indicate incorrect size and weight limits for televisions. If a television that is too heavy or wide is placed on the stand, the unit can become unstable and tip over, posing a hazard to consumers. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately check the size and weight of the television used with the stand. If the television exceeds 50 pounds or does not sit entirely on top of the stand, it should be removed immediately. CRT televisions larger than 20 inches and flat panel televisions larger than 27 inches should not be placed on these stands.
