The recalled toys are figures with body parts that attach using magnets, available in "Futuristic Warrior" or "Ancient Warrior" themes. Each figure includes three accessories. The specific models affected include Alien, Robotor, Flame, Gigantor, Toyoto the Samurai, Sir Lancelot the Knight, Eric the Viking, and Brutus the Gladiator, along with various assortments and packs. The model number is printed on the front of the product's packaging.

The recall was issued because small magnets inside the figures can detach. If young children swallow or aspirate these magnets, serious injury can occur. Specifically, if more than one magnet is swallowed, they can attract each other and cause intestinal perforations or blockages, which can be fatal. MEGA Brands and the CPSC have received 25 reports of magnets coming loose from the figures, but no injuries have been reported.

The toys were sold at Wal-Mart, Target, Toys R Us, K-Mart, and other toy stores nationwide from January 2005 through December 2007 for about $10. Consumers should stop using the recalled toys immediately and return them to MEGA Brands for a free replacement toy.
