The recalled product is a self-assembled, wooden play stove painted pink with six white knobs and a timer. The stove measures 11 1/2 inches wide, 13 3/4 inches deep, and 32 7/8 inches high when assembled.

The hazard exists because a metal bracket connecting the door to the stove can cause the unit to tip over when the door is opened. This poses a risk of injury to young children. Sears has received one report of the product tipping over, which resulted in bruises to a child.

The play stoves were sold at Sears and Kmart stores nationwide from September 2007 through November 2007 for about $100. Consumers should immediately remove and discard the bracket that connects the door to the stove to eliminate the hazard.
