These helmets were sold at Bell Racing dealers and distributors nationwide from February 2007 through November 2007 for about $40 each. The part numbers for the affected models are 2005740, 2001368, and 2001381, which are located on the product's packaging with the UPC. The helmets were manufactured in China.
No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall. Consumers should immediately take the recalled helmets away from young children and contact Bell Racing to receive a full refund.
