Cannondale Recalls 2007 Road Bicycles Due to Front Brake Failure

The recall is due to a defect where the bicycle's front brake can fail. This failure can cause the rider to lose control and fall. No injuries have been reported in connection with this defect.
The bicycles were sold at authorized Cannondale dealers nationwide from July 2006 through November 2006 for between $3,200 and $4,500. Consumers should stop using the bicycles immediately until they are inspected or repaired. Cannondale or authorized dealers have contacted affected consumers directly to offer a free inspection and repair if necessary.
